I always say simpler the better. This is way better than other marble runs we’ve bought in the past from toy departments that were supposed to be “stem” Toys. Discovery Toys Marbleworks is so much easier for kids to design and put together and without need for instructions (open-ended!) and the supports have a much wider base for support to stay standing. We’ve had ours for a couple years now and pieces are still intact despite lots of building and taking apart. Overall it’s well worth the money you’d spend to get this versus another brand that falls apart or breaks so easily.
